what could be more mind-numbing than job hunting?

to be honest, I haven't had to look for a job in about seven years. They've always sort of landed in my lap. So this is new terrain and though I have no idea how well sassy cover letters go over with employers, I'm unprepared to write anything else.

The good news is freelance jobs keep coming this way. We may own a home in this decade afterall.
