sweetest escape?

In honour of my recent escape from hell (relative term) and a very special birthday, Deano and I have hopped a ferryboat (now officially one word, thanks to Grey's Anatomy) and escaped for the weekend.

After last weekend's MANY shenanigans (the Wipf's birthday event, hiking Lynn Valley, the Know Show and a meal or two out) it is nice to now have nothing to do but read and write and walk along the ocean in the fog.

Plus, my momma turns 55 today! I'd say she looks pretty swell for such an advanced age ;) Here she is with dad in Greece... cute AND adventurous! well, we all know who I take after!
