Kingier - the flat tour

After a steady week of painting and shopping, our new place is nearly set, just in time for Dianna to arrive today. To celebrate our hard work, last night we had our first guests for some wine and dessert (thanks to Claire for bringing the best UK invention to date: Gu puddings).

Some of you may recall that, after much deliberation, our former flat on Walfield Crescent was named Glengier. "Glen" meaning valley and "gier" meaning of us Regiers. Well, a new flat warrants a new name. We wanted to keep a common thread, and since we live on King Street, Kin-gier was only right.

Intro out of the way, here's the tour:

THE KITCHEN

OUR BEDROOM

THE SPARE (aka the store room)

THE HALL

THE LOUNGE (as a work in progress)

(finished yesterday)

Nice place Amanda! I thoroughly enjoyed Glengier, and I'd love to experience Kingier...but it's not looking too hopeful :( Tell me again how long you'll be there??
